Caye, Las Encinas’ resident con artist-turned-janitor, swears off of love, but finds herself involved in a Prince Charming fairytale. Ariadna 'Ari' Blanco Commerford was a main character on the Netflix series Elite, serving as the central antagonist of its second overall story arc. Rebe, who’s still angry with Samuel for leading her on, gets down and dirty with the youngest Commerford child. Of course, the Commerfords and their devil-may-care attitudes spark up trouble for the returning characters: Rebe, Caye, Samuel, Ander, Omar, and Guzmán. Ari and Patrick, the twins, repeatedly cause trouble for their sister Mencía and vice versa. And, his children-Ari, Patrick, and Mencía-are, well, just as bad. Benjamín, the patriarch, and Las Encinas’ new principa,l makes life hell for the school students with his strict rules and dictatorship attitude. Unlike previous seasons, season 4 focuses entirely on a new family, the rich Commerfords. But, the drama, murder, and mystery have gotten even more intense in Netflix’s Spanish-language thriller, all thanks to the new characters in season 4. In a way, Ari creates a self-fulfilling prophecy, that spoils the possibility of a healthy relationship between Cayetana and Philip.You would think that after three seasons, Elite might have toned down a notch.
Imho, all the comments that Ari 'offers' do nothing but fuel doubts from Cayetana towards Philip. That's more than can be said from Patrick and Ari's behaviour towards Philip, as they only try to use him and belittle him at the same time. He seems pretty honest in his feelings for Cayetana, going against his family for her, and I have a feeling he's learnt his lesson regarding consent, given his reaction after his MAJOR fuck up. People can realize they're wrong and amend themselves. She helped Cayetana get away from Philip? We know nothing about what he did or didn't do, the show was unclear about what really happened, but let's say he crossed the line with a girl. And that's her behaviour towards a guy she loved. And clearly rolls her eyes, not reaching back and not trying to even understand what's going on with him. Just another example from the shorts : Samuel, the boy she's supposed to have had feelings for, tries to contact her and get some help. It was actually pretty satisfying to gradually see Guzman see her for what she is. I saw a girl who talked with a guy telling her he had lost his beloved sister, and that only heard the part about him having a girlfriend, because it's something she can use. I saw a girl who decided to play low to get anything she wanted, to be deceptieve and critical. I saw a girl who was horrible to her younger sister, only starting to be supportive when she was drunk or had been beaten up. I would actually have sympathised more if it had been clearer that they were using her, as a rebound or as a way to get to her dad, but they dropped this pretty early.Īpparently, I watched the same series as meatball77. and it doesn't help that she doesn't really behave like a decent person.
It's just that there had been a real build up to Carla/Samuel and Guzman/Nadia, that they had tons of pretty and very emotional moments, while they have no chemistry with Ari so it seems forced and unrealistic, the two boys are dropping their friendship for her even though it was a big part of their character development. It's true that it's cringe-worthy to see Samuel and Guzman announce they're madly in love with her, but it's not really a ship war. 90% of her dialogue is to make others miserable, behaving like an asshole towards any character crossing her path.
